The Birth of  Running Man events has long been one of my aspirations and ever more prevalent since i started running 2 and a half years ago.

After competing in a few adventure type obstacle courses, duathlon’s and the Comrades ultra in South Africa (56 miles), it soon dawned on me that there seem to be a lack of these type of events in and around the Essex area and started work on putting together Runningman Events Ltd.

My aim is to provide cost effective and all round enjoyable events, from the moment you arrive to the point at which you leave i want your experience to be everything you expect it to be.

Soon to be properly active will be the mapping software on the site, this will enable you to mark out your own run or cycle route and share it and search other routes that have been made by other users.

Also over the coming months we will be in continual talks with councils in the respective areas in relation to the events we have planned and once the decisions are made we will make you aware of them first.
